How far is Paracas from Lima?

250 km (155 miles) south of Lima along the Pan-American Highway (Panamericana Sur). The trip takes approximately 3.5 to 4 hours by bus or private car.

Option 1: Bus from Lima to Paracas (most popular)

The easiest, cheapest and safest way for solo travelers. Several reputable bus companies offer direct service:

Cruz del Sur — luxury buses with reclining seats, WiFi, snacks. From $15 USD (S/55). Departures: 7:30am, 12:00pm, 2:00pm, 10:30pm. Departs from Javier Prado terminal.

Soyuz / PerúBus — budget option. From $10 USD (S/35). Departures every 30 min from Javier Prado station. Slightly longer travel time (4-4.5 hours).

Best option if you plan to also visit Ica, Huacachina, Nazca or want to stop along the way.
